Lego Star Wars The Visual Dictionary

Beecroft, Simon (2009). Lego Star Wars the Visual Dictionary. New York, New York: DK Publishing.
This is an amazing book that has 95 pages devoted to all things Lego Star Wars. There are hundreds of Star Wars vehicles and characters that have been created entirely out of Legos. There is factual information given for each item that is shown in the book. It references the kit numbers for each item as well, so if a reader wished to recreate the item, s/he would be able to do so. This book is great for readers from four to one hundred and four.
Because this book contains actual photographs the texture of the Legos jumps out at the reader. One feels like you could each into the pages and pick up a Lego vehicle. The use of color makes this book interesting. The white pages with the colorful Legos causes the images to pop off of the page.
