Doug is a second grader. He and his friends are in class 2B. It is nearly Valentine's Day and the class is excited. When Sidney talks about his mom's wedding, Harry gets the idea that he would like to marry his little crush Song Lee. She agrees and the whole class works on planning the wedding and, they are all assigned roles for the ceremony. When Song Lee and Harry are about ready to be pronounced husband and wife, both of them take off to play a game of kickball instead. The kids from room 2B are happy though when they are invited to attend Sidney's mom's real life wedding.
The Horrible Harry books all have a fun and lively tone which make them so fun to read. The books are set in a classroom and school setting which makes them easy for the reader to relate to.
