I just started reading The Orange Houses by Paul Griffin. I started it last night and I am about a fifth of the way through with it. So far we have met Tamika (Mik). She is deaf, and does not like to use her hearing aids. She makes extra money by selling answers to the homework assignments. I was just introduced to Fatima. I am curious about what is to come because at the beginning of each chapter there is a countdown to "the hanging".
